A green Christmas for the Pope
We can make our parish a green parish – one where everyone, individuals and families – are committed to doing everything they can to live sustainably, reduce unnecessary consumption, repair and reuse as much as possible, and recycle the rest.
This is what the Pope asks of us in his encyclical on the environment.
So don’t let ourselves be overcome by a tidal wave of Christmas consumption this year.  Think about how to make it a green Christmas.
As we did last year, the Parish Environmental Group will shortly be making available a list of practical suggestions to help in doing this.  Please take one and take action too.

Walking the Spiritual Path Together: Advent Lectio Divina; Luisne, Kilcoole; Starting Tuesday 27th November + following 3 Tuesdays, Time: 10:45 am - 12:00 pm
Each of these four sessions before Christmas will consist of a reading from Scripture, a period of meditation and a sharing on the Scripture.
It is through the Scriptures that we come to know the values by which we, as Christians, are called to live. Participants will discover that the Gospels are as much alive for them today as they were for the early Christians.  Donations welcome
