OUR PARISH AND CLIMATE CHANGE
The Pope has urged us to reduce, reuse and recycle. This includes reducing our carbon emissions, essential to slow down global warming.
Yet recent reports show that instead of Ireland progressing towards meeting our international emissions targets, we are actually moving away from them.
Catholics need to pressure our politicians to treat climate change with much greater urgency.
Why not ask our local councilors and TDs where they stand?
Silence and inactivity is not what the Pope asks of us.
