DIOCESAN APPOINTMENTS
Archbishop Diarmuid Martin has appointed
Fr Michael O’Connor C.C. to be the Administrator of Kill o’the Grange Parish.
He will replace Fr John Killeen, who has completed 10 years as Parish Priest and has passed the retirement age for Parish Priests.
Archbishop Martin has appointed Fr John Killeen to remain in the parish as a curate.
These appointments will be effective from Sunday 2nd September, 2018

 


We thank everyone who responded to our recent appeals for the FAMILY OFFERING CAMPAIGN to fund the day to day running costs of the parish.
We appreciate all the generous people who contribute either through a Weekly Envelope or through a Banker’s Standing Order.
Further boxes of envelopes and standing order forms are available at the sacristy or at the parish office.

From Sat 18th Aug to Sat 24th Aug, we invite pilgrims, to undertake the WMOF 2018 Pilgrim Walk.  9.30 am – 7 pm
o Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Whitefriar’s, Aungier St.
Theme: Love at the heart of the family
o St Teresa’s Carmelite Church, Clarendon St.
Theme:  the gift of parents to the family
o St Audoen’s Church, High St.
Theme: the gift of grandparents
o St Michan’s Church St. (Anglican)
Theme: fostering the gift of forgiveness
o St Michan’s, Halston St.
Theme: the gift of children to the family
o St Xaviour’s, Dominick St.
Theme: God walks with families when times are tough
o St Francis Xavier’s, Gardiner St.
Theme: The role of teachers in enriching the children of our families
o St Mary’s Pro-Cathedral, Marlborough St.
Theme: The gift of brothers and sisters within the family – closes Thurs 23 until Sun 26 Aug

 

 


From now on the PARISH LITTER CLEAN-UP will be held for 1 hour on the first Saturday of every month.  The next clean-up will be held next Sat 4th August from 11.00-12.00 noon, meeting at the Resource Centre.
All welcome, bring gloves and grabsticks if you have them.  This is a practical way to help the environment, the Church and the wider community.
