Visit to Lourdes Grotto, Oblate Fathers, Inchicore in honour of the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes Sunday 11th February.    This Grotto, a replica of the Grotto at Lourdes, was completed in 1930 mainly by voluntary labour for the people of Ireland who could not afford to travel to France.  Many thousands attended the opening ceremony.  In honour of this great Feast, there will be a Lourdes Mass at 7pm followed by a torchlight procession.  Fare €10.  A bus will leave Holy Family + Sallynoggin Churches at 5.30 pm to travel to Inchicore.  Please come and join us.  Contact Maria Monaghan 086-357-6374l.

The Mass for all past pupils of St Mary’s Dominican Convent Dun Laoghaire will take place on
Sunday 18th February at 3pm in the Primary School Hall, Convent Road.  All past pupils welcome

There is hope for the world.
The Christian message is fundamentally one of hope.  Jesus overcame death once and for all, overcoming evil.
We believe therefore that it is possible to overcome the evils of overconsumption, mass pollution and great inequalities in the distribution of the earth’s goods and replace them by something better.
Each of us can do lots of small things to combat climate change, pollution, waste and all that goes with these.  Use less, reuse more, recycle more, support green initiates.
It’s now a central part of Christian lifestyle, as Pole Francis has made clear.
