Catholic Papers & Periodicals
Support these publications to keep informed about current affairs in the church in Ireland and worldwide. And to draw some inspiration for your own lives
Thank you to everyone who puts money into the CHRISTMAS DUES envelopes and places them in the safe.
Remember that cheques should have Holy Family Parish written on them not an individual person.
To help us with our new database, perhaps you could print your surname clearly, house no and street name. Huge numbers of Dues cannot be allocated to parishioners because of insufficient information on the envelope. Many thanks.
Reduce, Re-use & Recycle
Care for the earth is now an essential part of Catholic teaching, says Pope Francis in his encyclical. It is no longer a nice but not obligatory option. So we have to build in this care into our daily lives.
We can all do more in little things as much as “big” things. Cut out and cut down on plastics, for instance. Reuse things more; recycle more. Raise the environment more in talking to others. Pray every day for the world that God the Creator has given us.
