The Archbishop has designated this Sunday, 24th September, as “SAFEGUARDING SUNDAY” in relation to the safeguarding of children & vulnerable adults.
A Parish Safeguarding Representative will speak to you about “safeguarding “during Mass today.
BT Ireland Irish Cancer Society
Matt Forde and staff from BT Ireland will sell goods in Irish Cancer Society shops on 19th October. He will collect clothes, bric-a-brac, good quality household items and unwanted presents etc. this Saturday / Sunday 23rd /24th September, bags to be left at the doors
Last year’s appeal raised €157,000.
Over €5000 was raised from good donations from this parish.

Last Saturday & Sunday, you donated €2,663 to the Annual Diocesan Collection for the Crosscare’s Community and Homeless Services
THANK YOU VERY MUCH
Last year Crosscare provided
* 127,720 hot meals in its community café’s and residences.
* Provided 8,000 hampers to people in need of short term food support.
* Supported 93 people to move out of homelessness.
* Accommodated 2,024 people and 125 families in its 6 residential services in the city centre and Dun Laoghaire.
* Redistributed 1,627 tonnes of surplus foods and hygiene products to other charities.
