COMMEMORATIVE BOOKLET TO CELEBRATE THE 40TH ANNIVERSARY OF OUR PARISH
We would like to invite Parishioners to take a walk down memory lane and share their memories of the Parish.
We are looking for any photographs and memories in writing on the following: the Beginning/Early Years, Parish Priest/Clergy, Parish Resource Centre, Parish School,
Parish Pilgrimages – (Lourdes, Loreto, Rome, Glendalough)
Parish Groups – (Choir, Hospitality, Cleaning, Active Retirement, Scouts, Altar Servers, Church Stewards etc.)
Parish Finance – (300 Club, House to House, Fund Raising Events),
Baptisms & Marriages, Our Lady’s Shrine Monkstown Farm, Heritage Site in St Fintan’s Park
Significant Events – (Corpus Christi Processions, Family Day, Eurovision Mass, 40th Celebrations Mass, Papal Nuncio Mass etc)
The Present Day
All photographs & written memories can be given to any of the following and we ask that submissions be made by Sunday 21st September, 2014. If you have memories and would prefer to talk to someone rather than write them down this can be arranged also.

RESOURCE CENTRE will be closed for the month of August. The Parish Office will remain open Monday – Friday 10am -1pm.
The collection for the ST VINCENT DE PAUL will take place this weekend 16th / 17th August, 2014. Please give as generously as you can
OUR LADY IN THE FARM
Our Lady’s Shrine on Oliver Plunkett Road, Monkstown Farm was erected in 1954, the Marian year. There will be a Rosary and short Prayer Service to mark the 60th Anniversary of erection the Statue of Our Blessed Lady on
Sunday 31st August 2014 @ 4 o’clock. Come with your family, your children and your friends
Senior Help Line needs volunteers in Dublin
Are you a good listener? Are you aged 55+? Senior Help Line, a confidential telephone service for older peoples, needs volunteers for our Leopardstown centre. You would receive training and do a three hour duty on a Sunday evening every three weeks.
