14th Sunday in Ordinary Time

 

Youth 2000 Summer Festival, Cistercian College, Roscrea, Co Tipperary from Thurs 14th to Sun 17th August 2014.  For young people aged 16-35, an opportunity not to be missed to experience the Catholic faith and meet many new people.  This festival has been nicknamed the “Holy Oxygen” with over 1,000 young people from all corners of Ireland attending last year.  The festival is donation only.  Free busses available from towns throughout Ireland. TAX FORMS – many thanks to the parishioners who took the time to fill out the CHY forms.  If you haven’t returned your form yet, please return it as soon as possible.

 

The Christian community of Holy Family parish extends a Céad Míle Fáilte to Oliwia Teresa Kurzynska; Samuela Peters; Archie Ryan Farrell; Nicole Aoife Cahill; Lily May Conlon, who received the SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM in our church recently.  We extend our congratulation s and best wishes to both parents and children.

 

Please Keep Our Church Tidy.  Please put the Missals and music books in the holders provided and bring the newsletter home or return to the tables as you exit the church.

 

Please make sure your mobile phone is TURNED OFF during Mass.

 

Retreat for the Housebound and those with Mobility Difficulties If you, or anyone belonging to you, friend or neighbour, would be interested in attending an Afternoon of Recollection (a retreat) from 2.30 to 6.30pm on Sunday 13th July in St Joseph of Cluny School, Killiney, would you please contact the Legion of Mary; 01-280-6677 or 085-850-9280.  The afternoon includes Holy Mass and an opportunity for Confession.  There is no charge. If necessary, transport can be arranged, including for people with powered wheelchairs.

Sponsor a Little Flower of Life to grow in the gardens of Blackrock Hospice for someone special.  Funds raised will go to Blackrock Hospice to assist us in enhancing our service and giving the highest quality palliative care to our patients and their families.  Gardens will open Sun 6th July; 1am to 5 pm.  We thank you for your ongoing support
